Distinguished School

- Meets at least 6 times per school year. 
- Agendas are developed prior to the meetings. 
- Consensus Oriented decision-making body. 
- Ensures we have direct involvement of parents and teachers in the process of implementing the plan outlined in our Charter. 
- Serves in an advisory capacity.

There are several Governance Council Committees parents can participate in to understand the various roles teachers play in supporting Topeka. Here are the Committees and locations.
 
Supporting Positive Behavior Interventions and Gifted Committee: Room 15

Technology and Curriculum: Room 21
 
The next Governance Council Committee Meeting takes place on Tuesday, February 27 at 1:40 pm after school dismissal.
