WHAT IS TIGER FUND? 

The Tiger Fund is Topeka Charter’s “direct ask” fundraiser in which 100% of Tiger Fund donations remain at Topeka. Historically, the PTA has been a major contributor to many of the programs and services that make Topeka Charter School SAS a rewarding educational experience for our students, with the Tiger Fund supplying much of the money.  

Some of the programs supported by the PTA and funded partially by the Tiger Fund include: 

• COMPUTERWISE TEACHER - $29,000 (Per Semester)  
• PSYCHOMOTOR (P.E.) - $23,000 (Primarily fundraised through Tiger Trot Event)
• GARDEN RANDER - $7,000
• SCIENCE LAB - $5,000
• FIELD TRIP TRANSPORTATION - $5,000 
• WATER STATIONS - $5,000
• COPIER EXPENSE - $3,000 
• HOMEWORK CLUB/COMPUTER LAB - $3,000
• TEACHER SUPPLY REIMBURSEMENT - $3,000
• WEEKLY READERS - $3,000
• MYSTERY SCIENCE - $2,000
• BEAUTIFICATION - $2,000
• ARTS, SCIENCE, & MUSIC PROGRAMS - (TBD)  
• INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT/AIDES - (TBD)
• STUDENT DEVICE SUPPORT (Upkeeping/Updating) - (TBD) 

       TOTAL: $90,000  

Your Tiger Fund donation helps to raise funds to support these essential services. This year, we hope to achieve 100% participation from all Topeka families. Your tax-deductible donation in any amount will help to maintain programs and services that the district no longer provides. 

Since we are an affiliated Charter, don’t we have plenty of funding? 

Unfortunately, no. Without your financial assistance, these programs will be lost. The TIGER FUND helps raise funds to support these programs and services and make a difference for each and every student. 

Ready to Donate? 

We ask that you consider a one-time donation (if possible), so we are able to fund these essential programs immediately, however, monthly payments are available as well. Many companies offer a direct match program, so be sure to check with your HR department. Please visit our website to find the information needed to help with this process. 

Please donate whatever fits your family budget. A donation in any amount helps tremendously. Another way to help is to ask your Corporation for Company Matching opportunities, please ask your HR Dept. for details.

**Tiger bucks can be used to purchase spirit wear, yearbooks, entry into events and any PTA goods sold within event 

SPONSORSHIP of another Topeka Student 

In an effort to build a strong foundation within our Topeka Community, sponsor- ship of another student brings access and equity to all our students. If your family is able and willing, we encourage you to consider this special donation. All use of donations in this category will be available for the school administrative team to gift to a student (i.e., Spirit Wear, Field Trips, PTA sponsored events, Yearbook - to name a few). You name the amount. No amount is too small! 

HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT 

Complete the Pledge Form and return it to the school office along with your payment. Monthly installments are available. We've provided easy online payments through PayPal (please click on the donation buttons above).

Please fill out and turn in Pledge Form regardless of payment method w/ Attn: Bonnie Icenbice or Daphne Kozek  

Drop off your pledge form in the Tiger Fund Box in the main office or download the pledge form and email to: tigerfund@topekadrive.com
